Leprosy Eradication
MOB started this programme in 1992. SInce
then more than 3000 persons from 300
villages have been treated by us.
HIV/AIDS Awareness
Now our Snehalaya Children’s Care
Centre accomodate 27 children aged
between 3 and 16 years.
Women Empowerment
So far, MOB formed 52 SHGs(Self Help
Groups) of women comprising 1000
members.
Community Based Rehabilitation
More than 11,000 differently abled persons
have been refered to different centers for
assesment and medical certificate.
Awareness Programmes
More than 7,000 programmes, including
exhibitions have been conducted in
various subjects.

MOB'S 25 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
MOB Rural Health Centre is a non-governmental organization started in 1992 at the request of Dr.Hema reddy, the joint director of leprosy in Karnataka, run by the daughters of the church initiated with the purpose of eradication of leprosy in and later extended to providing awareness on HIV/AIDS empowerment of women, education, livelihood, health, rehabilitation of the disabled to name a few.
With divine providence, Sr.Leela with two sisters started the mission work at
Ganjam in Madhya District in a house hired on rent.
OUR IMPACT SINCE 1992
MOB rural health center is a registered charitable organization. The project is managed by the sisters Daughters of the church. The chairperson of the project is the Delegate Superior of the Congregation. MOB is funded by AIFO Bologna and UM Italy, AIFO india in Bangalore.
